Pricing and Registration Dates

Registration is open to only the first sixty (60) teams.  Team captains pay the full amount for their team at the time of registration.  Captains also choose team type, specify the team name, and create a team password.  Once a team has been registered, team members (non-captains) should add themselves to the relay team by registering on Race Roster. There is no additional fee when adding team members to a team, but they will need the team name and password to complete registration.

About the cost of the Smoky Mountain Relay

What this registration fee includes:

  • More than 200 miles and 30+ hours of racing on permitted, marked course, including traffic control signs, runner on road signs, directional signs and trail marking through Western North Carolina’s most beautiful scenery.

SMR Refund and Transfer Policies

Smoky Mountain Relay has a NO REFUND policy.  Please note that we do not offer any refunds or discount codes if you cancel your registration for this event, except in the case where the max number of allowed teams has been reached and there is a waiting list.

Transferring a captain. Adding or removing members:

  • A new captain can be designated from within the team roster up to 10 days before race weekend.
  • Runners can transfer their team spots with captain approval up to April 25. Team transfers MUST be made on the Race Roster platform.

IMPORTANT:  ALL RUNNERS MUST BE ENTERED INTO THE RACE ROSTER REGISTRATION PLATFORM AND WAIVERS DIGITALLY SIGNED.
