About the Cost of the Race

What this registration fee includes:

  • Up to 200 miles and 30+ hours of racing on permitted, marked course, including traffic control signs, runner on road signs, directional signs and trail marking through Western North Carolina’s most beautiful scenery.
  • Medical staff and on-course ambulances to assist runners as necessary.
  • Race t-shirt, pint glass, finisher medal and a beer on us at the finish line.
  • Color printed race bibles and maps provided at check-in.
  • Personalized race bibs.
  • Professional timing.

Registration is open to the first sixty (60) 200-mile teams and forty (40) 135-mile teams who register.

Team captains pay the full amount for the race. Additional runners need to register (no additional fee) on the Race Roster platform as well.

Refund / Transfer Policies

Smoky Mountain Relay has a NO REFUND policy. Please note that we do not offer any refunds or discount codes if you cancel your registration for this event, except in the case where the max number of allowed teams has been reached and there is a waiting list.

A new captain can be designated from within the team roster up to 10 days before race weekend.

Runners can transfer their team spots with captain approval up to 10 days before the race weekend. Team transfers MUST be made on the Race Roster platform.

ALL RUNNERS MUST BE ENTERED INTO THE RACE ROSTER REGISTRATION PLATFORM.
